We set up a booth at the Green Earth Expo here in Orlando, and we got an amazing response! Check out some pictures of the event and our thank you to the attendees of the show.
It's been longer than usual since our last blog posting because we've been extremely busy setting up and breaking down our booth at The Green Earth Expo here in Orlando, FL. The show ran from May 15-18th and it was at the Orange County Convention center. There were around 10,000 attendees and hundreds of exhibitors all with Green on their minds.
We got to check out some advancements in Green Technology from a prototype for a Solar Car to Electric Powered boats to a machine that recycles styrofoam. Seeing the exhibits was great but the best part of the expo was the fact that we got to spread the word about Green Travel. People were extremely excited about the idea, and surprisingly enough many people didn't know that greener travel options even existed. We were thrilled to spread the word about our green hotels, our green score for hotels, green car rentals, and carbon offsetting programs.
We gave away a ton of shirts and green bags, and even set up a remote controlled Prius obstacle course and gave away great prizes each day for the best times. Below you can see the pictures from the show including pictures of the winners.
We plan to booth at many more shows like this one, and would love to meet all of you. We'll keep you posted on where we're going next, but in the meantime keep travelin green!
