Hotel Felix is the first hotel designed to be Silver LEED certified. The building has northern exposure, which helps with heating the building in the winter months. They preserved the original structure, which prevented them from filling up landfills with non-biodegradable materials, and they have a designated “recycling room” for the hotel to sort through and organize recyclable materials.
